As a single working parent, I finally have 2 weeks and 1 day of vacation for winter break. (Yeah working for the schools) So what am I doing on this fabulous time off?
Officially potty training Tigger. Have thought about it since September....but it never took and we were always out on the weekends, so today was day one in Minnie Mouse Undies. I'm tired, I'm glad she's in bed. Let's see how tomorrow goes although I have to say 1 major accident and one minor one on the way to the potty isn't bad. I don't think I'll be able to relax until I have 3 days under my belt and then I probably won't relax. Yup, so much for relaxing vacations....I think all that finished a while back. Woo hoo parenting the 2's.

Good luck! And enjoy your holiday :)
I was thinking of trying with Jackson over the holidays as well, he's been asking to use the potty a lot, but usually right after he's done something lol. Let us know how it goes for you both, I'm curious!
Awesome! The first 3 days are the hardest, but for us potty-training boot camp was the way to go. We just set a timer and put Sam on the potty every 30 minutes, and he had so much fun resetting the timer every time that he cooperated. After about 3 days it got a lot easier, and by 8 days we were accident free. You can do it, and when you're done it will be so nice to not haul diapers everywhere. Just a change of clothes for just in case. :) I hope all goes well. Good luck.
I'm going through it with you - here's hoping we're both done in January!
it will happen, sooner than you think!
My hat is off to parent who can potty train children. I got lucky! My older 2 children were potty trained by grand-parents, and the daycare potty train my youngest. Yes! But I have faith you can do it Dannie! Happy holiday's!
Please please please let me know how to potty train! Any books, websites, etc. to recommend???
