Well, yes I was very sick during the weekend and have been trying to recuperate. However that's only half of the reason why I haven't been able to update the blog as I'd like. Since changing to the toddler bed, Tigger has been acting more and more like a big girl and can actually stand to be awake until 8pm, and so gone are the infant days where she would need to be in bed by 6:30 or just recently until 7:30pm. She is growing up and sleeping big girl hours. 8pm-6am.
Which leaves less time for me to get everything ready for the next day and have some "me, downtime" at night, which was when I usually wrote and posted on my blog. I'm thinking that I may have to change when I actually am able to post as it probably won't be in the evenings anymore (until summer and then hey it won't matter because my darling child will now sleep in until 7:30am on the weekends). So as in everything in parenting, I get to figure it all out yet again (not just the blog)
I leave you with this wonderful statement. Yes Tigger is acting like a 2 year old which means I spend a lot of time redirecting and making sure boundaries and non-negotiables are in line, however, I'm really, really, really loving this stage of life right now. There's nothing like an almost 2 year old. Personality...Lord, personality, cuddle feature, hugs, new words, new skills learned (she is totally into coloring/crayoning away on a page), and just joy. I am so in love every day no matter whether it's an "easy" day or "hard" day. I know people generally don't like the "2s" but I'm loving it.

I felt like you did about the 2s too, and it was the 3s that everyone warned me about. I'm happy to report that even though the 3s have their challenges, they just keep getting funner at every age!
I'm so glad you are enjoying that stage. I really did love the 2s with J-man. He was an awesome 2 yr old and three yr old... I think the stronger willed ones are a bit more challenging though. I didn't love those 2 yr old stages. BUT I am so glad you get to focus on her and love that stage. Every stage has it's ups and downs.
Hope you are feeling better soon.
Isn't it amazing how you get your routine figured out and working, then something happens and you have to redo it all and figure it out again? I feel like I've been doing nothing but figure out a new routine every few months! But I do love it :) Thankfully my little man is not 2... yet :)
